Jacques Moretti will be detained for at least three months, with the possibility of review depending on actions taken to prevent flight risks, such as posting a security deposit.
Following a comprehensive hearing with Jacques and his wife Jessica, prosecutors from Valais canton initially ordered his detention last Friday. The couple has expressed deep sorrow over the incident and pledged full cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
