The Conservative Party of Canada has announced a significant achievement in fundraising for the year 2025, raising nearly $48 million through over 327,000 donations. Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre expressed gratitude for the widespread support, highlighting the confidence in their message of optimism for a more secure and affordable Canada.
As per data from Elections Canada, the party’s fundraising breakdown for the year includes $28.1 million in the first quarter, $9 million in the second quarter, and $4.2 million in the third quarter. The party is also finalizing its fourth-quarter fundraising report, expected to reveal a total of over $6.4 million raised during the last three months of 2025.
Poilievre acknowledged the generosity of supporters, emphasizing that these contributions are essential for advancing the party’s goals and readiness to challenge the governing Carney Liberals in the upcoming election.
In a separate development, the Liberal Party disclosed its fundraising achievements, surpassing previous records with over $29 million raised last year, nearly doubling its 2024 fundraising total. Elections Canada data shows the Liberals collected $13.2 million in the first quarter of 2025, $7.6 million in the second quarter, and $2.95 million in the third quarter.
Azam Ishmael, the national director of the Liberal Party, described the year as historic and a significant milestone for the party. Meanwhile, the New Democratic Party reported receiving $4.6 million in donations during the initial nine months of 2025. Final donation figures for the last quarter of 2025 are yet to be released by Elections Canada.
