AI enables cybercriminals to circumvent technical obstacles and resource constraints, facilitating easier targeting and payment demands, often in cryptocurrency.
To safeguard against such cyber threats, the report recommends implementing basic digital hygiene practices like regular software updates, multi-factor authentication, data backups, and vigilance against phishing attempts.
