Kinew referenced former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura’s recent remarks likening the U.S. political situation to a “third-world country.” Drawing parallels to military police operations, Kinew highlighted concerns about the state of American politics. Additionally, Kinew addressed the Manitoba Progressive Conservative Party’s response to a board member’s controversial comments supporting ICE on social media. Party Leader Obby Khan distanced the party from the member, Patrick Allard, suspending him for his remarks following the tragic shooting.
