Drake Hosts Exclusive Apology Party for Janices

Drake, the Toronto-born rapper, has decided to extend an olive branch to all individuals named Janice who may have felt offended by his song “Janice STFU.” He announced an exclusive event on his Instagram story, inviting Janices from New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto, and Houston to a special apology party.

Drake’s representatives confirmed that physical invitations were sent out to Janices in Toronto as a formal gesture of apology. Those named Janice who did not receive an invitation can still RSVP by emailing JSTFU@DRAKERELATED.COM. To gain entry to the event, attendees must present government-issued photo ID as proof of their legal first name being Janice, excluding nicknames, middle names, or last names.

The song “Janice STFU” is part of Drake’s album “ICEMAN” and made a significant impact by debuting at No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 charts. This achievement marked Drake’s 14th chart-topping hit, surpassing Michael Jackson’s record for the most No. 1 hits by a male solo artist.

Drake’s album release, which included “ICEMAN,” “Habibti,” and “Maid of Honour,” was a massive success with 42 songs from the collection charting on the Hot 100. The party for Janices in Toronto is scheduled to take place on Sunday, June 28, from 1-4 p.m. ET at the Cactus Club on Adelaide St.
