Gabbie Hughes, Rebecca Leslie, and Brianne Jenner all contributed with a goal and an assist for Ottawa, who had their previous six-game winning streak halted by a 2-1 loss to Montreal. Gwyneth Philips showcased a solid performance with 31 saves in the net.
New York, on the other hand, with a record of 7-0-2-5, managed to secure a point for the seventh consecutive game. Jaime Bourbonnais, Kristin O’Neill, and Anne Cherkowski found the back of the net for the Sirens, while Sarah Fillier registered two assists and Callie Shanahan made 17 saves in goal.
The game saw Hughes, Leslie, and Jenner scoring for Ottawa in the early stages, establishing a 3-0 lead. New York fought back as Bourbonnais, O’Neill, and Cherkowski narrowed the gap and eventually leveled the score.
