“Prince George Turns 13: Royal Portrait Unveiled”

Prince George celebrated his 13th birthday on Wednesday, and Kensington Palace unveiled a fresh portrait of the young royal in honor of the milestone. The image, shared on X, captures Prince George, the son of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, exuding a relaxed demeanor in a dark suit paired with an open-collar white shirt, hands casually tucked in his pockets. Renowned photographer Matt Porteous captured the photograph during the Trooping the Colour ceremony last month.

As the grandson of King Charles, Prince George holds the second position in line to the throne, following his father. Demonstrating a growing sense of public duty, he has engaged in more official responsibilities over time. Notably, in December, he assisted his father in serving lunch at a homeless shelter in London. Prince George is set to commence his studies at the esteemed Eton College in September, the same institution attended by his father.

The eldest of three siblings, Prince George has an 11-year-old sister, Princess Charlotte, and an eight-year-old brother, Prince Louis. Kensington Palace expressed gratitude for the overwhelming birthday wishes extended to Prince George, sharing a video on social media showcasing him hiking, boating, and playing cricket on the beach.
