“Cuban Officers Killed in Venezuela Military Operation”

An official statement from the Cuban government confirmed that 32 Cuban officers were killed in Venezuela during a recent American military operation. The Cuban military and police officers were involved in a mission at the request of Venezuela’s government, as announced on Cuban state TV.

The specific nature of the Cubans’ mission in Venezuela remains unclear; however, Cuba has been a longstanding ally of the Venezuelan government and has provided military and police support for various operations over the years.

During his return flight from Florida to Washington on Air Force One, U.S. President Donald Trump informed reporters about the incident, stating, “You know, a lot of Cubans were killed yesterday. There was a lot of death on the other side. No death on our side.”

In response to the casualties, Cuba declared two days of mourning and praised the fallen officers for their bravery and dedication. The government’s official statement highlighted that the Cuban officers valiantly carried out their security and defense duties, demonstrating heroism and resilience in combat against the attackers or during bombings of the facilities.
