Toronto Sceptres’ forward, Daryl Watts, was recognized for her outstanding performance in December as she secured a spot in the PWHL’s top six lineup on Friday. These accolades are bestowed upon the leading three forwards, two defenders, and one goaltender based on their exceptional gameplay in the preceding month.
Watts demonstrated her prowess by contributing points in five out of seven games throughout December. Noteworthy among her four goals was the game-winning goal she scored during Toronto’s triumph over Montreal last weekend.
Joining Watts in the spotlight were forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield and Britta Curl-Salemme from the Minnesota Frost. The defensive honors were claimed by Megan Keller and Haley Winn of the Boston Fleet, while Aerin Frankel, a teammate of Keller and Winn, emerged as the top goaltender of the month.
