“Trump Flips Middle Finger, Swears at Factory Worker in Michigan”

U.S. President Donald Trump was seen on video raising his middle finger and using profanity towards a factory worker who criticized his handling of the Jeffrey Epstein controversy at a Michigan auto plant. The footage, initially released by TMZ, was not disputed by the White House.

In response to the incident, White House spokesperson Steven Cheung described the worker as a “lunatic” who was shouting expletives, with Trump offering what was deemed an appropriate response. The video captured the worker shouting what sounded like “pedophile protector” as Trump was touring the Ford F-150 assembly facility in Dearborn.

Following the incident, the worker who confronted the president was suspended, as confirmed by the United Auto Workers union. The union emphasized the worker’s right to free speech and vowed to protect his job according to the negotiated contract terms.

Online fundraising campaigns on GoFundMe.com for the worker garnered over $650,000 in donations. Despite the confrontation, other Ford employees welcomed and cheered the president during his visit to the assembly line.

Trump’s use of profanity has been noted in public settings before, often in response to criticism or confrontation. His visit to the Michigan facility aimed to showcase his administration’s backing of U.S. manufacturing, a focal point as the 2026 election year approaches. Michigan holds political significance, and job creation and industry support have been central to Trump’s economic agenda.

Trump has faced ongoing scrutiny over his handling of records related to Epstein, a convicted sex offender with ties to influential figures. While Trump denies knowledge of Epstein’s alleged crimes, his supporters believe key documents remain undisclosed.
