According to the statement, Hanson faced charges on December 14, last year, which include one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of assault by beating and engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour.

Hanson previously denied the allegations, asserting: “I will be cooperating fully with the investigation and legal process.”

Having become a qualified surveyor in 1999, Hanson swiftly moved into Christie’s ceramics and glass department. He garnered public attention with his first stint on BBC’s Bargain Hunt in 2002, at which time he was the programme’s youngest expert at just 25 years old.
